What was the main idea behind Wikipedia?
The core idea of Wikipedia is to have a free  high quality encyclopedia for every single person on the planet in their own language. So we're a global community of volunteers  who are all working together to try to do  something well we hope it's useful for the world. 

How did Wikipedia change your life and the world?
It brought me to many places around the world. I  think for most people what it's changed for is if we   you want some information we now can get it very  quickly. People used to say: "Oh I should go to the library and look this up". But now you just get on your computer and there you go.
