Steve was kind of a hot and cold person, told me Daniel Kottke, who traveled to India with Jobs. He was his college friend and one of the first employees of Apple assembling the company’s earliest kit computers with Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs. His official employee number was 12 though he said he was the first employee.
I talked to Daniel about the early days of Apple and what was it like to work with Steve Jobs at that time. Watch part of my interview with him. 

What was it like to work with Steve Jobs in the early days?
Well Apple in general was very exciting. Steve was kind of a hot and cold person. If he was excited about something then everything was great. But he was very often frustrated and not happy and then he could be very difficult. So he had a reputation for being difficult. And you know what - Henry Ford was difficult Elon Musk can be difficult.
